This project involved site enabling works and small civils to 50,000 seat AVIVA Stadium, as well as civils to the stadium management/Lansdowne Rugby Football Club buildings. The initial phase of works involved the setting up of the Main Contractor’s compound which included offices, canteens, storage areas, drying rooms and wash areas. Work was carried out during both day and night-time hours in close proximity to the DART line.
FIMA had a team of thirty-five men and machines on site and delivered the project within the programme time-frame without a single safety or quality issue. The site itself achieved two million accident free working hours on site in which FIMA played a large part. FIMA operatives and staff were and still are proud to have played their part in delivering this landmark football stadium.
